Dear Panda Hiring Team,
As a media producer and production manager who happens to have hands-on experience creating training and educational video content, I was excited to see your opening for a Creative Media Producer on the Learning & Development team. While much of my career has involved leading high-profile entertainment and branded content, I’ve always found purpose and joy in building clear, useful media that helps people learn and grow—and I’d love the opportunity to bring that to Panda.
I’ve produced instructional and internal communications videos for Union Bank, Sharper Image, Acre Coffee, and KQED, partnering with subject matter experts to script, shoot, edit, and deliver content that supports onboarding and operations. My work has also included education-focused projects for YouTube and PBS/KQED, where clarity and accessibility were top priorities.
Like many of us, I’ve seen my share of awkward or outdated training videos over the years—and I firmly believe they don’t have to be boring. A good training video should not only inform employees and stakeholders, but actually engage and excite them. That belief has shaped my approach to learning content: bring in storytelling, apply thoughtful visuals, and treat internal communications with the same creative care as customer-facing media.
In parallel, I’ve managed large-scale creative productions—ranging from a feature documentary about Jim Irsay and the Indianapolis Colts, to a global soccer docuseries, to TV series for Netflix, MTV, Discovery+, and films for Fox. Whether I’m managing a crew or designing thumbnails in Photoshop, I bring consistency, resourcefulness, and an audience-first mindset to every project.
What draws me to Panda is your balance of heart and excellence. I live just down the road in Pasadena and love seeing a local company do so much good on a national level. I was especially happy to see the Pasadena Panda location reopen after renovations—it looks great and has already become one of my go-to spots again. Being part of a company that’s both local and purpose-driven would be an ideal next chapter for me.
